Justin Beck is an entrepreneur, author and theoretical researcher who rebuilt his life from the ground up after a four-year sentence served across three Brazilian maximum-security prisons: Rio de Janeiro’s notorious Presídio Ary Franco, Esmeraldino Bandeira and Bangu 8.
Born into a working-class UK family, Justin was excluded from mainstream education as a child. His neurodivergent profile (Autism and ADHD) was labelled a liability, yet the same intense pattern-recognition that made him unmanageable in a classroom became a survival mechanism in one of South America’s most dangerous penal systems, and later fuelled his physics framework and his writing.
His trajectory runs through international drug trafficking, years of incarceration and a total reclamation of his life that began on Valentine’s Day 2008, when he walked out of the prison gates with nothing but time, physical energy and a profound philosophical compass epiphany.
Over the next decade he quietly founded and ran an anonymous, self-funded online charity, working alone to help over 1,500 people overcome addiction and criminality. Alongside it, he built his expertise in fine art, carpentry, software development and theoretical physics.
Today he is the developer of DocChat AI, a free, privacy-first document conversation tool; the sole architect of Adaptive Field Canonical Physics, a constraint grammar designed to interface below, within and above conventional physics, in development since 1984; and the author of seven published books, with more in the pipeline.
Justin lives in the UK with his son, whose honesty, work ethic and academic success he considers his most meaningful achievement.
